Troman Industries, Inc. Signs Agreement to License and Sell Collins Commercial Ground Vehicle Assets

Elkhart, IN – January 27, 2025 – Troman Industries, Inc. is pleased to announce the signing of a licensing agreement to acquire and sell specific assets in the Collins Commercial Ground Vehicle (CGV) segment of its Kidde Fire Protection Systems business, based in Wilson, NC. This strategic move allows Troman to further expand its market presence in the transit bus industry, leveraging Collins’ established reputation for superior fire protection solutions.

Under the terms of the agreement, Troman Industries will assume responsibility for Collins CGV’s order book, continuing to offer and support the brand within the transit bus market. Troman will also maintain an ongoing relationship with Collins, sourcing the necessary parts from the company to ensure continuity of service and product quality for its customers.
