Fire & Gas Protection Control Panels

The Troman Industries (formerly Kidde) Fire & Gas Protection Control Panels are provided as a surface or flush-mounted device within the driver’s compartment. It provides the driver with visual and audible alarms when the Kidde extinguishing system is in an OK, trouble, or alarm condition. The controllers work with all Kidde detectors and allow the driver to carry out several actions following an alarm.

Integrated Response for Vehicle Safety Events

These include delaying system activation, silencing the audible alarm, and resetting the system after an event. The panels provide continuous monitoring and outputs signals which can be used to assist in activation of vehicle emergency protocols, including turning off non-essential systems (e.g., HVAC, engine fans), de-rate or turn off the engine, turn on hazard lights, evacuation of passengers, and operation of the Troman/Kidde extinguishing system.
